MITS is a Web-Based Learning Management System and course/ resource delivery system developed by BAE Systems,Colorado Springs Operation.

MITS provides students, supervisors and training administrators with a powerful tool for completing and managing computer-based instruction and other training resources, all from an easy-to-use graphic interface.

MITS manages and delivers web-based training 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, bringing the training to the student, instead of requiring the student to go to the training.

MITS provides the following advantages:

• Allows monitoring and tracking of student performance using ADL compliant courseware

• Manages training offered in both online and classroom (instructor-led) formats

• Provides more courseware to more students with fewer instructors

• Delivers training online reducing the need to schedule training event
