__The Only Game Of It's Kind...

Cornerball© was invented to get 5-10 year old children active in a sport in which they and their families can become involved. Cornerball© is a no-contact sport. It is a safe court game where no physical contact is made. Each child plays from their own marked court and cannot enter the court of their teammate or opponents. Injuries cannot occur unless the child trips over their own feet.

Cornerball© is a relatively inexpensive game. No uniforms are needed. They can wear any rubber-soled shoe. The court can be laid down in chalk or masking tape. You will need a 7-foot adjustable basketball hoop and a mini size NCAA and or a WNBA size basketball. These balls are smaller and more manageable for 5-10 year olds to use.

Since Cornerball© is a physical sport, it would be good for home schooling or elementary physical education use. Parks and recreation, summer camps, and youth ministries can also use it. It can be played on a driveway, in a church basement or parking lot, in a cul-de-sac, on a playground, in a park, or in a gymnasium.

Cornerball© can be played with as few as 4 (two per team) or as many as 16 (8 per team) players. It is played for 6- 8-10 minutes per quarter with or without a half time break. A total of 30 minutes with a 6-minute break is needed for the 5-6 year olds; 40 minutes with a 8-minute break is needed for the 7-8 year olds; and 50 minutes with a 10- minute break is needed for the 9-10 year olds to play the game.

It can be played home-schooled family against home-schooled family, K-1st grade against K-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade against 2nd-3rd grade, 4th-5th grade against 4th-5th grade, camp group against another camp group, recreational center against another, by ages, by sexes, or church group against church group. It can also be a new league game.

Cornerball© can be played all year around inside or outside. It's new. It's safe. Start playing it and have fun.
