Q. Why do images appear distorted on my Web site? I am using AOL to view my pages.

A. This is due to AOL 5.0 compressing graphic files for faster download. To view images at a higher resolution you need to change your AOL Preferences. To do so:
  1. Go to My AOL.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Select WWW.
  4. Click on Web Graphics tab.
  5. Uncheck "Use compressed graphics."
  6. Now select the General tab.
  7. Click Delete Files.
  8. Check "Delete all offline content."
  9. Restart AOL.
